Thomas Lindhorst is co-founder and managing director of UGISense AG. Thomas is one of the developers of the Ugimers™, the UGISense antisense technology. Before joining UGISense AG, he was co-founder of ugichem GmbH, Germany and Austria where he served as Chief Scientific Officer. Thomas is a serial entrepreneur with more than 20 years experience. He holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from the Technical University of Munich and is co-author of several publications and patents.

Birgit Werner is a co-founder and managing director of UGISense AG. Birgit is one of the developers of the Ugimers™, the UGISense antisense technology. Prior to joining UGISense AG, she co-founded ugichem GmbH, Austria and was ugichem’s Head of Chemistry. In that role Birgit was instrumental in developing modified and customized Peptide Nucleic Acid (PNA) drugs. Birgit has more than 20 years entrepreneurial experience in the life sciences. She holds a PhD in chemistry from the Technical University of Munich and is co-author of several publications and patents.

Bettina Kipp is the owner of KIPP BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, a boutique consulting firm in Germany. Bettina advises on all aspects of business- and corporate development. She holds a Ph.D. in biology from University of Hamburg and has more than 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
